Henrietta grad named NCCAA Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week

STERLING, Kan. ( KFDX/KJTL ) — A 2021 graduate of Henrietta has made a name for himself at a Kansas college.

A Sterling College senior, Hunter Pullen was named NCCAA Defensive Student Athlete of the Week.

Pullen led the Sterling Warriors in tackles last season and was responsible for 16 tackles in week one of the 2024 season.

He kept the Warriors within one score until the final three minutes of Saturday’s game against Bethel College, where they lost 13-0.

Pullen finished the game with seven solo tackles and nine assisted tackles. He has a total of 116 solo tackles and 108 assisted tackles for his college career.
