The Thackerville Police Department was notified on June 10 that Parker had taken a firearm from the property while at the scene on April 3, and never reported it. Authorities say Parker later transported the weapon to his residence.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations (OSBI), Thackerville Police Department requested the assistance of OSBI on June 13 to investigate a stolen firearm.

Following the evidence and information gathered by OSBI agents, Parker was arrested and booked into the Love County Jail.

OSBI say the investigation is still ongoing.
