Grass Volleyball Tournament happens in Thayne on Friday
• Co-Ed teams can take home up to $200. Volleyball fans may want to add some friendly competition to their Independence weekend with the Grass Volleyball Tournament in Thayne on Friday, July 6, at 10 a.m. Games are scheduled to take place at Veterans Park at southeast of the Thayne Community Center located at 250 Vannoy Parkway.
Projects take over Braves Field during the summer
• Additional turf field, track resurfacing and updated bleachers all under construction. Sometimes a casual drive past the football field and track oval during the summer reveals a quiet or even sleepy day during the summer. Not this year. There are no fewer than three major projects currently underway which will change the look of the facility for the next two decades.

CASPER, Wyo. — Seven Wyoming firefighters from around the state, including one from Casper, will be entered into the 2024 Wyoming Firefighters Hall of Fame.
