In honor of the Class of 2024, Baltimore County Public Schools is profiling one senior from each high school. These profiles highlight the intellectual and personal strengths of our seniors and their diversity.

Tell us about a teacher, assignment, field trip, or extracurricular activity that had a significant impact on you?

The two teachers who had the most significant impact on me are my current Air Force JROTC instructors, Col. Castaldi and Senior Master Sergeant Stone. I say this because they “met me where I was” not only as a student, but now a cadet.

They constantly make sure I am achieving my high school goals, and they also take the time to make sure that my future is still set beyond high school. They are helping me with career information and research. They constantly help me make sure I can be the best cadet and human in society.

Being a volunteer for HUNGER4CHANGE and helping distribute food to the needy in my community, I meet people from all walks of life.

Being a child growing up in the house with my aunt and uncle, I was never deprived or wanted for anything. But I quickly found out doing the volunteer work that everybody didn’t live like me; they needed food.

This was an eye-opener for me once I realized and started to talk to the people who needed my help.

What did you accomplish that you are most proud of?

Being an Honor Roll student for more than six years. I used to be very withdrawn from people. Since 5th grade, I have become the most sociable and likeable person, with a lot of friends who have gone to BCPS schools and live in my neighborhood.

    What’s next for you?

I hope to become a lawyer and judge in the foreseeable future!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Eventually, I see myself as a 30-year veteran of the military with a master’s degree in criminal justice and a family of my own. I want to make sure my whole family is set forever.
