    Man dies in single-vehicle crash

    ROSEDALE — A fatal crash over the weekend involving a three-wheel motorcycle killed a man, according to Baltimore County police officials.

    On Aug. 25, BCPD Crash Team detectives responded to the 8700 block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale following reports of a single-vehicle crash, police said. Upon arrival, detectives determined the “driver sustained fatal injuries after the 2024 Can-Am Ryker he was riding lost control and traveled into a wooded area, where the vehicle struck a tree.”

    The victim, identified as 57-year-old Dominique Pizzuto according to a Patch report, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

    This case remains part of an open investigation, officials said.

    Rosedale shooting under investigation

    Baltimore County police detectives from the agency’s Violent Crimes Unit are investigating a shooting that injured a young man last Friday, officials said.

    Around 1:40 a.m. on Aug. 23, officers with the White Marsh Precinct were called to the unit block of Guinevere Court in Rosedale for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, police located a 19-year-old man with a single gunshot wound, authorities said.

    The victim was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening injury. As detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit continue to investigate this matter, they are asking anyone with information about this case to contact 410-307-2020.
