St. Joseph County, Ind. — The South Bend Record Show struck a chord with music enthusiasts on Sunday, as it showcased a staggering collection of over 100,000 items spanning all genres. Held at the Gillespie Conference Center at the Hilton Garden Inn, the bi-monthly event drew vendors and collectors from across the nation, transforming the venue into a vibrant marketplace for vintage vinyl, cassettes, posters, T-shirts, and classic stereo systems.

For many attendees, the show was a nostalgic journey through music history, offering a tactile connection to their favorite artists. Jeremy Bonfiglio, organizer of the South Bend Record Show, highlighted the event's appeal to younger generations who are discovering the allure of physical media. “We’re seeing people who didn’t grow up with physical media starting to appreciate the experience of holding something tangible while listening to music,” Bonfiglio explained. “They find value in reading the liner notes and connecting more deeply with the artists, feeling like they are actively supporting them by purchasing their work.”

The South Bend Record Show isn't just a celebration of music; it's an effort to rekindle the joy of physical media for a new audience. The next opportunity to dive into this musical treasure trove will be on October 13.
