ELKHART, Ind. — The Willie Weeks Memorial Classic Car and Truck Show drew car enthusiasts and community members alike on Sunday, showcasing over 115 vintage automobiles in a celebration of classic design and local heritage. This annual event, held in memory of Willie Weeks—a beloved car enthusiast, Navy veteran, and charitable supporter—continues to honor his legacy after his passing in 2021.

This year’s show not only highlighted timeless automotive beauty but also underscored the community's commitment to giving back. Each year, the show’s proceeds are donated to a chosen charity, and for 2024, Ronald McDonald House Charities was the worthy recipient.

Amid the gleaming chrome and polished paint, the event featured more than just cars. Attendees enjoyed food, live music, and a warm atmosphere that resonated with Weeks' passion for bringing people together. The top three cars were awarded trophies, adding a touch of friendly competition to the day’s festivities.

Held at the Elkhart Moose Lodge, the show was a true testament to the enduring appeal of classic cars and the powerful impact of community-driven events.
