'Home Alone' Christmas tour with Macaulay Culkin coming to North Jersey

Macaulay Culkin is hitting the road this holiday season with a special tour celebrating the Christmas classic "Home Alone." Titled " A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin ," the tour will stop in cities across the country, including in New Jersey.

The tour is all set to stop in Newark on Dec. 13, when fans can watch the original movie and enjoy a Q&A with the former child star.

According to the AV Club , the event will feature a screening of "Home Alone" followed by a moderated discussion as Culkin will share behind-the-scenes stories, favorite memories from filming, and insights on why the movie has become such an enduring holiday tradition.

VIP tickets, available for an additional fee, will also offer a personal post-show photo opportunity with Culkin.

"Home Alone," released in 1990, became an instant holiday hit and turned Culkin into a household name at just 10 years old. Directed by Chris Columbus and written by John Hughes, the film follows Kevin McCallister, an 8-year-old boy who accidentally gets left behind when his family goes on vacation. Kevin must defend his home from two bumbling burglars, played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern, leading to a series of memorable slapstick moments.
