    Northwood offering electronics recycling day June 1

    The city of Northwood is holding a free electronic recycling day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 1 at the municipal building parking lot, 6000 Wales Rd.

    Recycle old, used, or broken electronics. Items that can be recycled include computers, video game equipment, small kitchen appliances, laptops and tablets, cell phones, printers, cameras, stereo equipment including speakers, and holiday lights and extension cords.

    Items that cannot be recycled are cathode ray tube monitors and televisions, large kitchen appliances, flat-screen TVs, fluorescent and incandescent lights, and car or dry cell batteries.
