VFW parade to close East Toledo streets

A sequence of East Toledo streets will be closed Monday morning during the Veterans of Foreign Wars’ Memorial Day parade.

The parade will step off from the VFW Post 4906 at 2161 Consaul St. and proceed northwest across Front Street to Fire Station 13, then reverse on Consaul to Bakewell Street, northeast on Bakewell to Bogar Street, southeast on Bogar to Caledonia Street, and southwest on Caledonia to end at Consaul.

Street closings will begin at 9 a.m. Local traffic will be allowed when it does not endanger participants or spectators.
