The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Perrysburg Police Department, the Perrysburg Township Police Department, and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, will have an OVI checkpoint from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday on Front Street in Perrysburg.

The checkpoint, which is funded by federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.

The checkpoint will also be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat impaired driver-related injury and fatal crashes, according to a patrol news release.

Call #677 to report an impaired driver.
