Waterline break forces closure of Oregon branch library

The Oregon branch of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library System will be closed through next week as crews clean up from a waterline break.

A staff member discovered water in the building Friday morning, and the source of which was traced to a waterline break. Water to the building at 3340 Dustin Rd. was shut off, and crews called in to review the extent of damage. A restoration company has been contacted to begin assessment and cleanup.

Library officials anticipate the Oregon Branch to be closed through Aug. 23, but that date may change as they determine the full extent of the damage.
