Seniors can now register for 'spectacular' event in Wood County

BOWLING GREEN — Registration is open for the 90s Plus Spectacular event, which is set for Sept. 16 at the Wood County Senior Center.

The 4 p.m. event at the 140 S. Grove St. center will celebrate Wood County individuals who are 90 years of age and older. Honorees may bring one guest to celebrate.

There will be a slideshow, musical entertainment by a harpist, and awards presented by elected officials. Beef stroganoff is on the menu. Those who are unable to attend in person will get a framed certificate.

Registration is required by Aug. 23. Participants should complete a brief biographical form and provide an emailed picture for the slideshow.
