    Participants chosen for Toledo Top 64 boys basketball showcase

    The Toledo Top 64 on Sunday unveiled its complete list of participants in its northwest Ohio boys basketball showcase event set for 11 a.m. on Sept. 29 at Scott High School.

    The showcase is for prospects by “invite-only,” and, according to a release, drew 53 scouts representing 40 colleges last year.

    Area athletes selected from the class of 2025 include: Fremont Ross’ Michael Stover; Liberty-Benton’s Jake Gerken; Northview’s Tyler Robinson; Rogers’ Ki’Jyere Mcalister; St. Francis de Sale’s Jameson Heck; St. John’s Jesuit’s Jayden Jones; Start’s J’Siah Jefferson; Swanton’s Charlie Wood; Toledo Christian’s Karter Koester; Whitmer’s Justin Haralson.

    Chosen from the class of 2026 were Cailan Hornbeak, Dre Wardrop, Kaeden Carruthers, and Manny Johnson of Central Catholic; Nate Miles of Emmanuel Christian; Jack Leppelmeier of Pettisville; Traden Booker of Rogers; Brandon Ingram, Jr., and Jaron Witcher of Southview; Alan Horton of St. Francis de Sales; Jack Goodnough and Race Kowalczyk of St. John’s Jesuit; Andre Young of Whitmer.

    From the class of 2027 were Cardinal Stritch’s Erick Graham; Central Catholic’s Cayden Kynard, Isaiah Mack-Russell, and Liam Cody; Emmanuel Christian’s Antwoine Mister and Cedric Hester; Maumee Valley’s Jeybrehm Price, Kee’Ran Stokes, and Ty Lewis; Patrick Henry’s Reid Creager; St. Francis de Sales’ Tre’Sean Chenault; St. John’s Jesuit’s Ethan James; and Whitmer’s Charles Johnson.

    Start’s Chris Poellnitz III is the lone area representative for the class of 2028.
