Toledo-Lucas County Health Department building closed due to excessive heat

Due to the exceptionally high temperatures forecast for Tuesday, the Toledo-Lucas County Health department building will be closed for the day.

According to the health department, the air conditioning system that serves the the building at 635 N. Erie St. “isn’t functioning efficiently and is unable to adequately cool during high temperatures, which affect the comfort and safety of everyone using the facility.”

All clinical appointments for Reproductive Health and WIC at the downtown location will be rescheduled.
