The U.S. Marshals and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, joined by the Toledo Police Department’s SWAT team, on Friday arrested a Toledo man who was wanted in connection with a May 31 South Toledo double murder.

Marquise Walker, 19, was arrested without incident at a home in the 300 block of Dennis Court, police said. Both he and his brother, Markas Walker, Jr., 21, of the 2700 block of Pickle Road, Oregon, are charged with two pairs of alternative murder counts, with each set accompanied by a charge of second-degree felonious assault.

Marshawn Robinson, 17, and Teryaun Perrin, 25, were both shot in the 1400 block of Beecham Street. Mr. Robinson died the day he was shot, while Mr. Perrin succumbed to complications from a gunshot wound to the neck on Aug. 17, said Dr. Thomas Blomquist, the Lucas County coroner.

Markas Walker was already in the Lucas County jail, being held on a $1.6 million bond.

Anyone with information concerning a wanted fugitive can contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED (1-866-492-6833). Reward money is available, and tipsters may remain anonymous.
