Members of The Bobby Bones Show shared the worst scams they’ve fallen for after a listener called in recalling one Amy fell for. A prisoner who had just gotten out of jail came up to her door and needed help, so she gave him her credit card number. She also bought produce, and it never came, plus put a deposit on a cat, but never got the cat and the only reason she got her deposit back was because they called them out on the show.

Bobby Bones shared that someone used his credit card on Bojangles last week, so he canceled his card. Lunchbox recalled when he clicked on a link that told him he was on the news, but it was a scam. Raymundo got scammed when he was approached by a photographer at the mall who told him he was shooting for the store, Express. He posed in his underwear in this randoms persons basement, and the photos never came out. When he left, he realized it was a scam because the “photographer” told him to drink to make himself feel more comfortable while he took pictures in his underwear on a couch and there was no one else there. Eddie shared when he moved to Nashville and found a house for rent for $200, but when he called them about it, he found out it was a scam.

Lunchbox just saw a new scam where he got a text from a job recruiter saying they had multiple people send them his resume and they wanted to offer him a job. It included a link and the only reason he didn’t press it was because he doesn’t have a resume. Bones shared the time he got catfished when he was 26. He thought he was talking to a Guess Jeans model, but her camera was always broken so he never saw what she looked like. When members of the show questioned him about it, he got defensive, so he brought “her” on the show, and it turned out to be a small man pretending to be a model to scam people. The story even made the news back in 2010!
