Plainfield Town Hall sign looks different: What was done?

    By Connor Linskey, Norwich Bulletin,

Those passing by Plainfield Town Hall should notice the repainted town hall sign.

Dawn VanCedarfield, co-founder of the Plainfield Beautification Association, contacted Plainfield High School Teacher Erin Cameron about repainting the sign. Cameron and a group of Plainfield High students spent parts of three days this week sanding, cleaning and repainting the sign.

“It was old and chipped,” VanCedarfield said regarding the sign. “It needed to be sanded down, brightened up, freshened up. Just given a nice little facelift.”

Cameron was pleased with how the sign turned out.

“I think it came out beautiful…,” she said. “It’s a lot brighter.”
