Maher has been campaigning to be a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model for years. Back in 2022, she posted a video on TikTok where she said being in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue was a lifelong goal.

"I'm committed to inspiring others to appreciate their body and to find their own beauty no matter what society says. I think I would be a great model for your issue," Maher said to Sports Illustrated in the video.

Two years later, Maher's lifelong goal has come true. After officially sharing the news on Instagram , the star reacted in typical Ilona Maher fashion - posting multiple funny videos to TikTok and Instagram reels .

In one reel, Maher joked about posting the shots from her SI swim photoshoot non-stop, lip-syncing to a sound that says "prepare to be sick of me."

More seriously, she called it a "picture perfect day."
