Local teen crowned Nat’l American Miss NC

Jaliyah Rae was crowned as the 2024 National American Miss North Carolina Teen Queen during a pageant in Charlotte last month.

Rae received her official state crown, banner and trophy as well as an invitation to the national pageant held Thanksgiving Week in Orlando, Florida.

During the Charlotte pageant, Rae was recognized with the spokes-model, runway-model and photogenic awards.

Rae’s activities include being an active volunteer at the Jerry Long YMCA, high school sports at Calvary Day School and theater and acting programs.

TJ’s Deli and Pizza Greco sponsored Rae.
