CLEMSON — The Clemson Tigers moved practice to Jervey Meadows on Wednesday. Each year, head coach Dabo Swinney moves camp to Jervey Meadows to give the team a different look so they don’t get too comfortable and to allow the practice fields to be in good shape when game weeks get underway.

The media was allowed to watch 3.5 period of the practice.

Here are some observations from the offense:

    • Paul Tyson was not dressed for practice. He worked exclusively as a coach with the quarterbacks.
    • The starting offensive line was the following during the drills we saw: Ryan Linthicum at center, Walker Parks at right guard, Blake Miller at right tackle, Marcus Tate at left guard and Tristan Leigh at left tackle.
    • Keith Adams was out of the green (limited contact) jersey and working as the number two running back.
    • Jake Briningstool was in a green jersey. He was not participating in the drills we saw.
    • Christopher Vizzina was running as the backup quarterback.
    • Jay Haynes was running as the No. 3 running back followed by David Eziomume as No. 4.
    • Troy Stellato was not in a green jersey and was participating in all of the drills.
    • Josh Sapp made a great catch in the corner of the end zone in one drill and got a big yell from Will Swinney, who is working with the tight ends.
    • Vizzina looked really good in the drill where they were throwing an over-the-shoulder pass to the corner of the end zone. His throws were on the money.
    • The two freshmen receivers TJ Moore and Bryant Wesco continue to impress. Moore is so smooth going up to catch the ball at the high point. Wesco glides through his routes.
    • On one of the offensive agility drill, Haynes slipped. He quickly got going and finished the drill.
