Mickens Credits Another Safety for Making Plays in Camp

CLEMSON — R.J. Mickens might be the most complete football player on defense. So, when the senior recognizes the efforts of another safety in Clemson’s back seven, take notice.

Mickens says redshirt sophomore Kylon Griffin has been standing out in camp thus far.

“He played last season and he has been making plays in camp,” Mickens said. “He really knows what to do and he can play every position. He is not scared to ask questions. He knows all three positions and he has really come a long way.”
