The Clemson football team held its first scrimmage of fall camp Saturday.

Head coach Dabo Swinney gave an update on the health of his team following the scrimmage at Memorial Stadium.

Swinney was asked if the Tigers came out of the scrimmage pretty healthy.

“A couple guys got banged up,” Swinney said. “We’ll just have to see what the trainers say, with the extent of a couple guys that got taken out of the scrimmage for whatever reason it was. So, don’t want to speculate on any of that.”

Clemson returned to the field to start fall camp on Aug. 1 in advance of the team’s season opener against the Georgia Bulldogs in the Aflac Kickoff Game on Saturday, Aug. 31 (12 p.m., ABC).

A limited number of signed footballs from Clemson’s 2022 class are still available.  Get yours while supplies last!  Visit Clemson Variety & Frame or purchase online!
