Head coach Dabo Swinney shared a number of injury updates following Clemson’s scrimmage on Thursday, including updates on junior cornerback Jeadyn Lukus and redshirt junior wide receiver Troy Stellato.

Lukus has been day-to-day, and Swinney said “he’s not quite back yet, but he’s close.”

“He should be back any day and be ready to roll,” Swinney said.

As for Stellato, Swinney said he’s banged up and didn’t participate in Thursday’s scrimmage.

“Stellato wasn’t able to go today, but hopefully we’ll get him back next week,” Swinney said. “He was a little bit gimpy today.”

Stellato broke out in 2023 after battling injuries for his first two seasons at Clemson. He recorded 38 catches for 321 yards and a touchdown over 12 games (six starts) last season, and enters 2024 with 40 receptions for 336 yards and a touchdown over 14 career games (six starts).

Lukus was credited with 10 tackles and three pass breakups over seven games (four starts) last season. He enters the upcoming season with 16 tackles (one for loss), three pass breakups and an ACC Championship Game interception over 18 career games (four starts).
