It should be an interesting matchup when Berlin visits UA for a battle of the Bears. Berlin is coming off a Week 1 win, having defeated DeSales 17-10, while UA is looking for its first win after being shut out for the first time since Oct. 26, 2018, falling 6-0 to defending Division IV state champion Cleveland Glenville.

Westerville North senior quarterback Ronald Jackson threw two touchdown passes and ran for two scores last week in a 34-0 win over Westerville Central. Against Orange, he'll go up against all-state defensive back Treyton Schroeder. Orange junior quarterback Levi Davis is one of the top Ohio recruits in the class of 2026, and North senior offensive lineman Jake Cook is an Ohio State commit .

Jonathan Alder and Columbus Academy both are 1-0 entering their first meeting since 2004. Mason Curtis rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown and Grant Horne passed and rushed for scores to lead Alder past Fairbanks 35-21 last week. Academy rallied to beat Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy 22-21 as Cole Spalding passed for 138 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 118 yards and a score.
