Memphis football schedule 2025: Tigers' AAC opponents announced

Memphis football knows its 2025 conference opponents, which were released by the AAC on Thursday.

The Tigers will host Navy, South Florida, Tulane and UTSA. Memphis will play on the road against East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Rice and UAB.

The four home games will be against the same four opponents Memphis will play on the road in 2024 . UAB and Rice will play at Memphis this season, while the Tigers have not played the Pirates the past two seasons.

The matchup against Florida Atlantic will be the first conference game between the two schools. The Tigers did beat the Owls in 2020, when they met in the Montgomery Bowl and Memphis earned a 25-10 win.

Memphis and Tulane have played every year since 2014. The Green Wave won in Memphis last year, which was the first time they'd beaten the Tigers at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium since 1997.

Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium will still be undergoing construction in 2025, so those games will be played at a reduced capacity stadium.

The Tigers already knew their non-conference schedule for 2025. Memphis will also host Chattanooga on Aug. 30, play at Georgia State on Sept. 6 and then play at Troy on Sept. 13. The Tigers will close out non-conference play when they host Arkansas on Sept. 20.
