Memphis basketball has added a home game against Ohio University, finalizing its 2024-25 non-conference schedule , multiple sources confirmed to The Commercial Appeal.

The sources requested anonymity because an official announcement has not been made.

The Tigers and Bobcats will square off Nov. 15 at FedExForum. It will be the first meeting between the schools since Dec. 5, 2012, and the second meeting all-time. Memphis won the first game 84-58 at FedExForum.

The matchup is yet another stout opponent on a demanding non-conference schedule for Penny Hardaway's team. Memphis is also hosting Missouri (Nov. 4), Arkansas State (Dec. 8), Mississippi State (Dec. 21) and Ole Miss (Dec. 28). The Tigers will face UNLV (Nov. 9), Clemson (Dec. 14) and Virginia (Dec. 18) in true road games. They also have four neutral-site contests, including three at the Maui Invitational and versus San Francisco (Nov. 21 at the Chase Center in San Francisco).

The Maui Invitational features a loaded field: UConn (two-time defending national champions), North Carolina, Iowa State, Auburn, Michigan State, Dayton and Colorado. Memphis is set to face UConn in the first round on Nov. 25 (1:30 p.m., ESPN2) and will face either Michigan State or Colorado on Nov. 26.

Ohio finished 20-13 last season and finished tied for second with Akron in the MAC under coach Jeff Boals. Leading scorer Jaylin Hunter is gone, but four of the Bobcats' full-time starters return for the 2024-25 campaign.

Aidan Hadaway and A.J. Clayton were fifth and sixth respectively in field goal percentage in the MAC, while Ajay Sheldon was second in the league in 3-point percentage.

Ohio welcomed several offseason additions, including Iowa State transfer guard Jackson Paveletzke.

CBS Sports bracketologist Jerry Palm's most recent projection has the Bobcats making the NCAA Tournament as the MAC's automatic qualifier.
