Sunshine State Games registration underway

PUNTA GORDA — The PicklePlex in Punta Gorda will be hosting one of the 11 contested sports while the 45th annual Sunshine State Games get underway.

Registration deadline, to be completed online, is May 24 for the pickleball contests taking place June 7-9 for age groups 50 and older. It is a qualifier for the 2024 Florida Senior Games that takes place in December.

The swimming championship takes place May 31-June 2 at Dwight Hunter Northeast Park in Gainesville. Deadline for entries are May 22.

The Canoe Kayak, June 1-2, Paddling Paradise, Palm Bay, Online Registration deadline is May 27.

Artistic Swimming competition takes place June 7-9 at Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training in Ocala. For more information, visit www.sunshinestategames.com/artistic-swimming.

Taekwondo competition takes place June 15-16 at Wiregrass Sports Campus in Wesley Chapel.

Ultimate takes place from June 15-16 at the Clay County Regional Sports Complex. It is a 250-acre complex. To register or for more information, visit www.sunshinestategames.com/ultimate.
