Casey's waffle sandwich is back and Des Moines stores are getting it before anyone else.

People living in Des Moines will have the chance to try one of the most requested Casey's breakfast items before anyone else.

In honor of National Waffle Day, Casey's is bringing back the Ultimate Waffle Breakfast Sandwich for a limited time, and Casey's stores in the Des Moines metro get to try it first.

“Since introducing the Ultimate Waffle Breakfast Sandwich last fall for a limited time, we were inundated with requests to bring it back,” said Tom Brennan, Chief Merchandising Officer at Casey’s. “Some guests even went as far to call it our ‘best ever,’ so with morning routines returning and fall approaching, it is the perfect time for its return.”

What's on the Casey's Ultimate Waffle Breakfast Sandwich?

The Casey's Ultimate Waffle Breakfast Sandwich comes with bacon, sausage and egg in between maple waffles. The offer is only available for a limited time, and Casey's did not announce how long it will be in stores.

When can I try the Casey's Ultimate Waffle Breakfast Sandwich?

Before anyone else gets the sandwich, 100 Casey's stores across the Des Moines metro will have the Ultimate Waffle Breakfast Sandwich. The new item returns to the Des Moines area on Saturday, Aug. 24, just in time for National Waffle Day.

The rest of Casey's stores will offer the sandwich starting Sept. 4.

Are there any deals on the Casey's Ultimate Waffle Breakfast?

In addition to offering a new breakfast treat for National Waffle Day, customers can also save while celebrating. Casey's rewards members can claim a $1.99 Ultimate Waffle Breakfast Sandwich offer in Casey's app from August 24-28. The offer can be redeemed anytime until Sept. 15.
