Rihanna's Savage X Fenty store to open in downtown Detroit on Friday

Michigan’s first Savage X Fenty store will open Friday in downtown Detroit.

The lingerie brand, founded by the singer and global superstar Rihanna, will host a grand opening event at the store Friday beginning at 10 a.m., according to a post by Bedrock Detroit on the social media site X.

The store, first announced in 2022 , is located at 1442 Woodward Ave. Founded by Rihanna as an online-only brand in 2018, Savage X Fenty carries lingerie, sleepwear and loungewear in sizes up to 4XL. The company now has stores in Atlanta, Houston and Los Angeles, among other cities.

The celebration will include special giveaways, a live DJ set and light refreshments, according to the post on X.
