The N.C. State Wolfpack football team opens the 2024 college football season against the Western Carolina Catamounts on Thursday (7 p.m., ACC Network) at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh.

Entering its 12th season under head coach Dave Doeren, the Wolfpack has won at least eight games in each of the last four seasons. N.C. State will start the new year at No. 22 in the USA TODAY Sports US LBM Coaches Poll and No. 24 in the AP Top 25.

During the offseason, the Wolfpack added several starters via the transfer portal, including former Coastal Carolina quarterback Grayson McCall, former Duke running back Jordan Waters and former Ohio State wide receiver Noah Rogers.
