Week 1 of the Florida high school football season kicks off this week, with multiple major rivalry games across Jacksonville and Northeast Florida set for Friday, Aug. 23.

Raines-Bolles, Creekside-Mandarin and Ponte Vedra-Nease are just a few of the top contests on deck for FHSAA Week 1 of 2024. For teams across Northeast Florida, it's the first step on the road that will eventually lead to the state playoffs and FHSAA championship games in December.
