Frederick County government is looking to expand life sciences within the county by following a new road map made public on Wednesday.

“You can’t grow a life science sector without supporting the innovation economy and you can’t get to a place where bio companies want to locate in the community unless there is that ready and talented workforce,” Lara Fritts, executive director of the county’s Economic Workforce Development office, said in an interview.
