Ausherman, Frederick Health requests discussed at city planning forum

The Ausherman family and Frederick Health on Monday explained their reasoning behind proposed developments during the Frederick Planning Department’s monthly community outreach meeting.

The Ausherman family has proposed that the city annex land near Lake Whittier at its estate at High Glen and a number of neighboring parcels from Frederick County, including the Faith Reformed Presbyterian Church. The church hopes to connect to city water lines if the annexation goes through.
