A 16-year-old boy who was shot at a gathering in Urbana two weeks ago remains in critical condition and his father is asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.

In a phone interview on Thursday, Alex Lancaster said his son Chase was shot once in the hip and is still fighting for his life at a local trauma center. His badly damaged gallbladder and right kidney had to be removed, and the bullet grazed his heart, Lancaster said.
