Tassili's Raw Reality is more than just a great vegan restaurant—it's an Atlanta institution. An OG in the vegan community, Tassili's helped popularize the rawist diet with its creative, filling kale wraps. The house-turned-eatery pioneered adding a fun, edgy twist to veganism with cleverly named, customizable kale wraps like the Punany, spiced to your liking, or Dat Ish, featuring vegan mayo, avocado, and mushrooms. And it's all completely raw—no matter what your very full tummy will tell you after you eat just half a wrap. Tassili's consistently delivers great-tasting, quality food, so you'll be met with a line at the counter. Just know the wait is worth it.

The Punany

You might need to become an alien and grow a third hand to comfortably hold this wrap, which is best when it’s spiced (you have the option to get it mild, mixed, or spicy). It comes with tangy soy-free vegan mayo and a soft, thin spinach wrap and is stuffed with chopped kale, mushrooms, avocado, karamu couscous, and coconut-sweet corn, which adds a layer of sweet to the crunch.

Dat Ish

This is best with the crunchy, thin seaweed wrap, though you can get it with a thin spinach wrap as well. Stuffed with mushrooms and avocado and tomatoes, this kale wrap is similar to the Punany but minus the hint of sweet corn.

South Of The Border

The black-eyed pea hummus is smooth and nutty, and it pairs well with the lightly spiced Moroccan couscous. These fillings give the kale wrap a nice mix of flavors that make it the MVP of the menu.
