This Eighth Street spot is one of our favorite Nicaraguan restaurants in the city.  It’s small and quiet (with its own parking lot), but the dishes have flavors that are big and loud. Our favorite is the pescado a la tipitapa, a whole grilled red snapper that’s been deboned and topped with a delicious sauce made of tomatoes and onions. But if you’re more of a land animal, get their charbroiled pork ribs. They’re scorched, juicy, and worth getting your fingers dirty. If you’re still hungry, order their pio X and dig into it like you’re looking for treasure.
