    Super Sunday series continues Aug. 25

    ANGIER — The Super Sunday Night music series at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church continues Sunday, Aug. 25, with Mercy’s Cross.

    The trio will perform at 6 p.m. at the church, 4440 Piney Grove Road, five miles east of Angier, just off N.C. 210.

    The series will conclude on Sunday, Sept. 15, with award-winning vocalist Ivan Parker.

    A native of North Carolina, Parker has traveled the world and is featured regularly on the  “Gaither Homecoming” television series.

    Admission to the music series is free; the church collects an offering for the performers.
