    Two are graduates of Central Carolina

    SANFORD — Two Johnston County residents graduated Aug. 13 from Central Carolina Community College.

    They were Jessica Holland and Anna Shafritz.

    “This is your day, this is your moment, and you need to enjoy it so that you can remember it with joy,” Lisa M. Chapman, the school’s president, told the graduates. “I want to thank you for how you have represented the Cougar Nation as students and how I know you will continue to represent us as alumni.”

    In all, 198 students graduated during the summer ceremony.
