    Conference aims to H.E.L.P. women

    CLAYTON — The 10th annual H.E.L.P. Conference is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at The Clayton Center, 111 E. Second St.

    The annual conference for women focuses on health, empowerment, love and purpose.

    Here’s a look at this year’s workshops:

    • Raising the NEXT Leader.

    • From Side Hustle to Business.

    • Girl — Unplug! Self-Care for the Busy Woman.

    • Five Steps to Homeownership.

    • The Power of NO!

    • Build Your Own Village.

    The conference will also offer lunch, door prizes, vendors and networking opportunities. The cost is $35.

    Tina Bailey Consulting and Latinos Activate JoCo are partnering to offer the event.

    Bailey is a certified peer support specialist, certified nonprofit consultant, master life coach, author and host of The BOSSUP podcast.

    Kelly Blanchard is co-founder of Latinos Activate JoCo. “We are incredibly honored to be part of this milestone event,” she said. “The H.E.L.P. Conference has been a beacon of empowerment for women in our community, and we’re excited to contribute to its success.”

    Proceeds from the conference will go to BuildHER Collaboration Corp., a nonprofit providing education, advocacy and support on domestic abuse and sexual trauma.
