OKLAHOMA CITY The Inasmuch Foundation Board of Directors and staff recently unveiled the naming of the East Foyer at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, recognizing a major contribution to the Museum’s Live the Code capital campaign.

Launched in August 2023, this ambitious three-year initiative aims to raise $40 million to modernize the Museum’s guest experiences and infrastructure.

Robert J. Ross, chairman and CEO of the Inasmuch Foundation, expressed pride in supporting the Museum’s efforts.

“The Live the Code capital campaign’s projects will modernize exhibit offerings and infrastructure to enhance one of our State’s national treasures,” Ross said. “These enhancements will ensure the Museum remains a top destination for visitors from across the nation and the world.”

The campaign funds will support a range of improvements, including new exhibits, parking upgrades and extensive renovations of the Museum’s art and artifact storage vault, which houses over 25,000 items. Additionally, the Museum’s research center will be relocated and expanded, offering better access to its 3 million items.

Jeff Ewing, executive vice president and chief development officer of the museum, highlighted the impact of the donation, noting the transformation of the Museum into a premier experience showcasing the American West’s diverse history.

Completed projects include the Code of the West interactive experience, featuring a 30-foot LED screen and advanced technology to explore the cowboy code of ethics, and the Find Your West immersive exhibit, a 3,000-square-foot display illuminated by 23 million LED lights that surrounds guests in western landscapes.
