Tickets for Travis Kelce’s ‘Car Jam’ go on sale next week. Here’s how to attend

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was host to his first “Car Jam” a year ago, and he was particularly proud of one vehicle at the fundraising event in Kansas City.

Just 48 hours after the event, Kelce’s 1970 Chevy Chevelle became a focal point for football and music fans. That’s because Kelce used the Chevelle to escort superstar singer Taylor Swift from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium after the Chiefs thumped the Bears.

You may recall it was known as “The Getaway Car.”

That was the day Kelce and Swift went public with a romance that has captivated much of the country.

Kelce’s “Car Jam” is returning on Oct. 5, but it’s unclear if the Chevelle will be on display at the show, which is being held at a “Walnut Street Block Party.” That’s according to the website for Kelce’s Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation .

Here is a description of “Car Jam” from the site where tickets will be sold: “Come hang with us downtown Kansas City (Walnut Street & 18th!) for an outdoor block party style event that will showcase some of the city’s top automobiles, including some of Travis’ personal vehicles! There will be food, drinks, and fun for all ages.”

Tickets for the show will go on sale Wednesday at 5 a.m., but there is no information on the cost for general admission or VIP passes. You will be able to buy the tickets at eventbrite.com when the sale goes live.
