    Foster leading for TCSS District 6

    EDITOR’S NOTE: These results do not include 381 absentee by mail voting. These were the total number of votes received by 12:30 a.m. ET, at the time of print. Final results can be found on lagrangenews.com as they become available.

    As of publication, Tripp Foster was leading the race for the next Troup County School Board member representing District 5. Foster received 667 votes while Miracle Lovelace-Williams received 568 votes.

    With only absentee ballots left to be counted, Foster is the presumptive winner of the Troup County School Board District 6 race, however, the race is likely headed to a runoff.

    As of midnight on election night, the remaining uncounted votes are 381 absentee mail-in ballots.
