Vote Now: Who will be Polk County's top high school football player for 2024?

Leading up to the Florida high school football regular season, The Ledger has highlighted some of the top players at each position in Polk County and selected the Super 16, the list of the top senior prospects in the county.

So, among that group, who will be the best player in the county this fall?

In 2023, Lakeland quarterback Zander Smith was the Big Schools offensive player of the year and returns for his senior season. Can Smith repeat?

The other players honored, Fort Meade quarterback Carson MontsDeOca, Lake Wales linebacker Johnqua Richardson and Mulberry linebacker Tim Jones have all graduated, leaving the door open for new players to be honored. Who will they be?
