LIMA — Mother-daughter trio Pam Brown, Diana Brown and Deb Floyd were the first to arrive at the Allen County Fair grandstands Saturday evening.

Dressed in cowboy hats and boots with beers in hand, the women waited for the Brothers Osborne to take the stage.

They first learned about the band three weeks ago when Pam Brown heard “It Ain’t My Fault” on the radio.

“I’m driving in the car and I’m going, that should be my theme song,” Brown said. “Ain’t my fault that didn’t work.”

While searching for the band’s name, Brown’s daughter Diana saw the country-rock duo was performing at the Allen County Fair, an hour-and-a-half away from their home in Dayton. They decided to make it a family affair.

Scattered showers didn’t dampen too many spirits Saturday as fans came out to the grandstands to see Grammy award winning country artists the Brothers Osborne.

The country-rock duo — known for their hit songs “Stay a Little Longer,” “Younger Me” and “It Ain’t My Fault” — headlined the Allen County Fair alongside fellow country artist Corey Kent.

Siblings John and TJ Osborne won their first Grammy in 2022 for their hit song “Younger Me,” inspired by TJ’s coming out, but the brothers have been nominated for 10 Grammy awards since their first song came out in 2013.

Saturday was Becky Rowe’s second time seeing the siblings perform in person.

She and her sister Krissy Fairfield watched the duo in concert at the Toledo Zoo three years ago and instantly became fans.

“I’ve followed them ever since,” Rowe said. “I love them. Love them. They’re my favorite.”

Fairfield likes the song “Stay a Little Longer.” Rowe’s favorite song is “Rum,” but she prefers the demo version of the band’s hit “Stay a Little Longer.”

“I’ve always listened to the demo version of it,” she said, “so when I hear the radio version I’m like, ‘It’s a little off.’”
