    Jeopardy! champion explains comparison between hit show 'The Bear' and 'every episode of Mad Men'

    A Jeopardy! champion could careless about the Emmy-award winning show, The Bear .

    Like many, Amy Schneider started watching the FX show and had some thoughts to share with her fans. This comes after season three was released on June 26. The show is about a Michelin star chef named Carmy, played by Jeremy Allen White, who took over his late brother's, Mike, restaurant and transformed it with his previous staff that was close to Mike. He also brings in the mbitious newcomer Syndey, played by Ayo Edebiri, who wants to learn from him and want to become a Michelin star chef.

    On July 27, Amy posted a tweet on X, formerly known as Twitter, comparing the show to Mad Men.

    The post read: "The Bear feels like it was written by someone who watched only the 'Previously, on Mad Men' part of every episode of Mad Men."

    Many of Amy's followers agreed with her and also wanted to share their thoughts with her on the show. One person wrote: "I can’t decide if I love that show or hate it, the yelling is a turn off and some episodes are long and slow and a bit boring, but others are fantastic." Another person wrote: "I can’t take all the yelling. Not good for my anxiety/depression. Rewatching The Americans." A third person wrote: "I just can’t get into the show – all it seems like is frequent profanity and little story."

    The new season made history when the premiere received 5.4 million views worldwide in the first four days of release. The new season was supposed to release on June 27 but released a day earlier. It became the most-watched premiere for any scripted show and the third biggest season premiere of all time on Hulu.

    Despite Amy and her followers not being big fans of The Bear, others thought other wise and came at its defense. The show recently made history and received 23 Emmy nominations for a comedy series. Season two of The Bear surpassed the Emmy record held by NBC’s 30 Rock since 2009 with 22. The show was also nominated for lead comedy actor (Jeremy Allen White), lead comedy actress (Ayo Edebiri), supporting comedy actor (Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Lionel Boyce), supporting comedy actress (Liza Colón-Zayas), directing (Storer for Fishes and Ramy Youssef for Honeydew TK) and writing (Fishes by Joanna Calo and Storer).
