Machine Gun Kelly shared that he's been on a sober streak for nearly one whole year .

In a recent chat on the 'Dumb Blonde' podcast, the 34-year-old artist spilled the tea on his journey toward living alcohol-free , confessing: "I'm completely sober from everything. I don't drink anymore. I haven't drank since last August." After wrapping up his European tour in 2023, Kelly took a serious step towards self-improvement by checking into rehab.

He shared: "I didn't tell anybody outside of the [people] closest to me."

He continued, shedding light on his initial experience with rehabilitation: "That was my first time I ever went to rehab. They just gave me so many ways to operate the body and show where this anger is coming from and methods to quell it."

Despite making strides, MGK acknowledged the continuous challenge of maintaining sobriety, likening it to performing a "constant tightrope walk".

His pursuit of mental well-being involved discussions with numerous psychologists, some of whom he said abandoned helping him, as he revealed: "I met with a lot of psychiatrists, some who gave up on me and many therapists who did the same."

"But I ended up falling into an awareness of what my condition is and have made peace with it. It's a constant tightrope walk."

Later in the episode, the musician also shared his appreciation for his partner Megan Fox , 38, and thanked her for being part of his recovery,

He said: " Megan has for sure been extremely helpful in dealing with the kind of psychological withdrawals that come with getting off drugs." He continued: " I continue to embrace that this journey is gonna be hard for me, but I accept it and forgive myself, he explained. "I'm also really hard on myself, very self-deprecating. I’m just happy that I’m able to start to be comfortable enough to show people who I am because I kind of depended on my art to do that."

Megan sent the rumor mill into overdrive after sporting what appeared to be a baby bump in Jelly Roll's 'Lonely Road' music video. While it sparked speculation, an inside scoop provided to Us Weekly suggested it may all be part of the show: "Although they have discussed having a baby, this was just for MGK's music video."
