Barracuda Music, the Austrian ticketing service, announced the news on Instagram with a statement: " Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Vienna Shows Cancelled Due to Government Officials Confirmation of Planned Terrorist Attack. Jane Owen, of JOPR exclusively told the Mirror : "If I was her [Taylor Swift's] publicist right now I would be doing several things simultaneously; Crafting messaging that emphasises the real and serious danger of NOT cancelling and letting everyone involved and impacted know that these measures were taken because they were incredibly necessary for the safety of the fans and that Taylor Swift puts their safety above and beyond anything else."

Jane suggested that Taylor Swift should personally craft empathetic messages that resonate with the emotions of her fans who had tickets to the postponed shows. She emphasized that the pop star should express a commitment to reschedule any cancelled concerts and foster support groups and inter-fan relations to maintain a sense of community during these challenging times, reports the Mirror .

"I would also recommend that maybe Taylor Swift's team put together something virtual for the fans that had tickets to those concerts, in addition to being reimbursed," Jane added. "Many of the fans that lost out on experiencing her concert have expressed that they lost something more than money, so there may be a way to compensate them with a virtual message or song, I think it would be an interesting idea to explore."

Jane further commented on the harsh reality of our world where terrorism and violence can unexpectedly strike, describing it as a "horrible nightmare reality we are living in".

Returning to her comments about Taylor, Jane concluded: "Hopefully Taylor's team can create a level of heightened security to be able to finish the Tour, however we should not be surprised or blame her if she was to cancel the whole thing. People's safety is more important and always should be."

"I have a lot of respect for the way she has handled things so far and I give credit to her as a person and her team as a whole, for managing a truly nightmare situation with intelligence, grace and consideration."
