Snoop, who has been a hit at the Paris Olympic Games this year as a correspondant, shared an unexpected connection to Simone that eagle-eyed fans spotted on social media. This week, Simone took to Instagram sharing a loving shoutout to her father Ronald Biles who was reeling in his 75th birthday as he cheered her on from the sidelines.
On Thursday, the 27-year-old athlete shared a snap of her proud dad beaming at the Olympics with a pair of sparkling shades on with the caption "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" written underneath. In following post, Simone's dad was seen blowing out his birthday candles in the stands as he and his family enjoyed a chocolate flavored cake covered in berries. And as Simone paid tribute to her father on his milestone birthday, Snoop also took the time to gift him with a thoughtful present on his big day.

Fans picked up on the legendary rapper's birthday gift from an Instagram Story that Simone's sister Adria Biles posted onto her profile. In the snap, her dad was smiling and flashing a gold Death Row Records chain - from Snoop's famous record label - around his neck. Ron's daughter jokingly captioned the post: "snoop gave him a chain now he don't know how to act" and added: "75 looks great on you! happy birthday I love you."
The Biles' have a lot to celebrate this year as Simone has already bagged three gold and one silver medal at the 2024 Olympic Games. This year, the talented gymnast was awarded gold for her participation in the Women's Artistic Individual All-Around, Women's Artistic Team All-Around, and the Women's Vault competitions.
