One person wrote: "I wish I was there especially for Piano Man. Have a great time." Another person wrote: "SO wish that I could be there. Had tickets to Wembly Stadium for his joint tour with Elton John and he got laryngitis and Elton John covered his set as well (extremely well despite learning the songs on the day). So never got to see Billy Joel." A third person wrote: "Missed out on tickets to see this fabulous piano man. Cardiff give @ BillyJoel the biggest welcome ever. Croeso I Gymru Billy." A fourth wrote: "Shame he wasn't on our train!"

Billy released new music earlier this year for the first time in 17 years. The last time fans heard a new single from Billy was on Valentine's Day in 2007, when he presented All My Life, to his then wife, Katie Lee. Before the 2007 sing, Billy had not released original pop music since the release of the River of Dreams album in 1993. In 2014, Billy started his long-running residence at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
